SCREEM (Site CReating and Editing EnvironMent) ist beides ein HTML editor und XML editor für Linux und UNIX designed für GNOME Desktop Environment.
Anders als ein WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor wie Adobe Dreamweaver ist designed für ein WYSIWYM (What You See Is What You Mean). Leider wurde die Entwicklung schon vor einer Weile eingestellt, aber für Standardaufgaben ist er mehr als nützlich. Wer nicht unbedingt eine Echtzeitvorschau braucht, dem sollte es reichen, im Browser das Ergebnis zu sehen.
