Oracle hat seine 4. Version vom beliebten Virtualisierer vom Stapel gelassen. Das veröffentliche Paket ist dieses mal ein major Update, was auch unschwer an der extremen Feature List zu erkennen ist. Auffällig ist das kleine Vorschaufenster im Manger, der zur Laufzeit ein screenshot der laufenden Appliance zieht. Nette Idee, die andere Produkte in dem Umfeld aber schon seit längerem haben. Wie üblich kann es von der Webseite geladen werden oder man bindet die Quellen direkt ins System ein.
VirtualBox 4.0.0 (released 2010-12-22)
This version is a major update. The following major new features were added:
