Eine Alternative bietet die\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/platformio.org\/platformio-ide\" style=\"overflow-wrap:anywhere\">PlatformIO IDE<\/a>, die gut mit dem\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/code.visualstudio.com\/Download\" style=\"overflow-wrap:anywhere\">Visual Studio Code<\/a> zusammenarbeitet. Als erstes muss\u00a0Visual Studio Code installiert werden. Dazu k\u00f6nnt Ihr Euch hier\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/code.visualstudio.com\/Download\" style=\"overflow-wrap:anywhere\">https:\/\/code.visualstudio.com\/Download<\/a> das passende Paket herunterladen (*.deb). Somit bekommt man nach einem Programm-Neustart die M\u00f6glichkeit, Projekte f\u00fcr\u00a0Atmel AVR, Atmel SAM, Espressif 32, Espressif 8266, Freescale Kinetis, Infineon XMC, Intel ARC32, Intel MCS-51 (8051), Lattice iCE40, Maxim 32, Microchip PIC32, Nordic nRF51, Nordic nRF52, NXP LPC, RISC-V, Samsung ARTIK, Silicon Labs EFM32, ST STM32, Teensy, TI MSP430, TI Tiva, WIZNet W7500 anzulegen. Auch wenn die Oberfl\u00e4che erst einmal wie ein Cockpit einer 747 wirkt, wird man schnell die Vorteile erkennen.
