\nWer dies nicht glaubt, der sollte sich mal diese Scripsammlung <\/a>ansehen.
\nMit dem Script geht folgendes:
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 Downloads all IMAP folders
\n– \u00a0 Stores messages in mbox, mbox.gz, or mbox.bz2
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 Each folder downloads to its own mbox file, eg. Inbox.Drafts.mbox
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 Downloads only new messages, appends them to the mbox file
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 IMAP4 SSL, supporting client and server certificates
\n–\u00a0\u00a0 Accesses IMAP account in read-only mode. Does not affect message ’seen‘ status.

\nSolch ein kleines Scrip kann man auch nachts auf dem NAS laufen lassen, welches dann immer per Cron ein Backup der Daten erzeugt.
